All About Me!

Hello! I am Miss Cook and I will be your ESL Teacher!
I am looking forward to working with you during the upcoming year!

I grew up in Upstate/Central New York in a small city called Oneida. I graduated in June 2007 from Oneida High School.

I went to SUNY Fredonia (in Western New York) for my Bachelor's Degree in Adolescent (grades 7-12) Education with concentrations in French and Spanish. I graduated in May 2012.

I have had the opportunity to study abroad three times during my studies in Education.
I lived in Cuernavaca, Mexico during the Summer (July - August) of 2008. I lived with a Mexican host family and took Spanish language and Mexican culture classes at La Universidad Internacional de Cuernavaca.

I lived in Paris, France during the the Fall (September - January) of 2008. I lived with a French host family and took French language and culture classes at La Sorbonne.

I lived in Barcelona, Spain during the Spring (January - June) of 2009. I lived with a Spanish host family and took Spanish (Castellano) language and culture classes at La Universitat de Barcelona.

Traveling has been a big part of my life. While abroad, I had the opportunity to travel through Europe during my spare time. The countries that I have visited include France, Spain & the Balearic Islands, England, Ireland, the Netherlands, Italy, Belgium, and Morocco.
